Steven graduated as a Civil Engineer in 1977 and has been working in computing since 1981, starting with CDC mainframes, through Digital VAX and Unix, and into PC's with Novell NetWare, and Windows Networking. He founded Wintra Ltd in Israel in 1996, a company dedicated to giving IT services to small and medium businesses. The introduction of Microsoft Small Business Server in the late 90's led to his specialising in all aspects of this product until today.
